Star of the story is an innovative company that specialises in personalised story books. With our delightful stories the child is the star - the child takes the place of the main character and their name features throughout the story. The books are personalised further by including their friend's name and their town/village. Finally, there is a dedication page at the start of the book. Here you can include who the book is from and include a special message to make the gift unique.
We are looking for affiliates to help us to promote and sell our personalised books. We offer two schemes depending on the type of retailer that you would like to be. Personalised books make great gifts for all occasions. Birthdays, Christenings and Christmas are of course popular, but the books are also suitable for new arrivals (a present from a new born sibling), Awards ("well done at school" or for good behaviour) or simply as a treat. Personalised books can be bought by parents, relatives, and friends and there is nothing more convenient than buying online and mail order. Also, there is a growing number of 'Silver Surfers' - grandparents with high disposable incomes that are keen to shop for that unique present.
Personalised books are also educational. Studies have shown that a personalised book is read 9 times more often than a traditional story book. This is because the child is the star and enjoys being the focus of the story. Personalised books also raise confidence and self esteem (it is their adventure after all) which, educational studies have shown, leads to an improvement the child's learning ability.
Finally, children's books are a growth market. Children's books are the fastest growing segment in the publishing industry. Sales of books have grown by 10% each year and this pattern is expected to continue. Personalised books account for less than 1% of this market but this percentage is growing rapidly. It is easy to see a personalised book market that is 10 times the size that it is today.

| Online Affiliate
Online affiliates promote and sell our personalised books through the web. Through an existing online shop or through similar sales channels (eBay, forums, blogs, etc) you would offer our products alongside your other items. Orders are placed online where your affiliate discount will automatically be applied.
This option will cost you nothing There are no upfront fees to pay or minimum order amount. Simply pay for your goods - at your affiliate rate - when you place the order. We can post the goods to you or send them directly to your customer.
We can send you free samples, images and marketing material. You can then do as much or as little as you want to promote and sell the products. But, the more you sell the more you make.

| Offline Affiliate Offline affiliates promote and sell our personalised books through traditional channels. Book shops, children gift and toy shops, school events, village fairs, reading groups etc. We offer a special 'party box' which includes a selection of the products (books, puppets, CD's) for you to take to your event. Orders can be placed by the mail order form or through our website.
If you own a shop then this option will cost you nothing There are no upfront fees to pay or minimum order amount. We will send you our gift sets to display in your shop. When you make a sale simply place an order through our website - at your affiliate rate. We will then pr the books and it either to you or directly to your customer.
If you are a party planner then our 'Party Box' is just for you. For a one off payment of £50 we will send you our party box which contains over £200 worth of products including gift sets, books and puppets. Simply take this box to your events and let your customers see, hear and feel the products. You can place orders online or via our mail order form. In return, we will pay both you and your host in cash.
You can then do as much or as little as you want to promote and sell the products. But, the more you sell the more you make.
