What is a personalised book ?
A personalised book is a book that has been personalised just for you. In our books the name of the main character will be changed to a name of your choice. That name will feature throughout the book. For instance. In the Rapunzel book the name of the princess has been changed to Princess Tinkerbell - so it is Tinkerbell who is the star of the story.
In The Princess Stories book series the books can be personalised to include a friend's name and the child's village. Again, this will be added to the story.
Each book also includes a dedication page where you can type your special message. The message together with your name will appear on the first page of the book.
How long can the personalisations be ?
The length of the names that can be accepted is dependent upon the layout of the book. The length is limited to ensure that the text does not span across the illustrations. Typically, the child's name and friend's name is limited to 14 characters while the dedication page can accept 30 characters.
Can i include special characters ?
Sadly not. The printing process does not support special characters and there is a danger that the character will be misinterpreted and the wrong character may be printed. For this reason we ask that only standard letters are used.
Can i include a brother / sister in the story ?
Absolutely. The friend's name can be any name that you choose be it a friend, brother, sister, niece or nephew. In fact, we have already included aunts, uncles, parents and grandparents names in the story.
How long will the book take to deliver ?
Each book is printed to order from our specialist digital printer. For this reason we can not simply take books from stock. The typical process - from order to printing - normally takes 4 weeks but we ask that you allow up to 6 weeks in case we hit a delay. However, as soon as we receive your book we will post it out to you.
Can i have my book in time for a birthday / christening / Christmas ?
Let us know when you need the book and we will see what we can do. We may be able to speed up the process by a few days. For Christmas, we will advise when the last order can be placed.
My book is incorrect - can i have a reprint / refund ?
Absolutely, We want you to be 100% satisfied with your order. If a mistake has been made on our part - for instance a spelling mistake or printing error - we will reorder the book for you. If a mistake has been made on your side then please tell us as soon as possible. We may be able to correct it before the book is printed.
If you are not happy with the quality of the book then simply return the book to us and we will give you a full refund.
Can you deliver to Europe / USA / Australia ?
Absolutely. We have four bands of shipping - UK, EU, USA and Rest of the world. UK orders are sent by Royal Mail First Class and international orders are sent by airmail. Please contact us for delivery times.
How can i pay ?
We use the Paypal secure payment system for our financial transactions. When you place your order you will be redirected to PayPal to complete the payment. You can then choose to pay by credit / debit card or make payment through your PayPal account. PayPal accepts a wide range of international currencies - refer to the PayPal website 'http://www.paypal.com' for more details.
